Migrating Databases

To migrate databases owned by an instance, you need to perform the following steps:

  1. Logon with a user ID that has SYSADM authority.

  2. Ensure that the databases you want to migrate are cataloged.

  3. Migrate the database. Refer to the Version 5 Command Reference for the database migration syntax command.
