Listing the Administration Server

To obtain the name of the Administration Server on your system, you must have root authority to run the db2set command at a command prompt. The syntax of the command is as follows:

   DB2DIR/bin/db2set -g  DB2ADMINSERVER


where DB2DIR = /usr/lpp/db2_05_00 on AIX


= /opt/IBMdb2/V5.0 on HP-UX or Solaris
