Table 4 shows you where DB2 Universal Database products are located on the Version 5 CD-ROMs.

Notes:

  1. When installing the DB2 Client Application Enabler, we recommend that you install it from the DB2 Universal Database CD-ROM, if available. However, if a DB2 Universal Database CD-ROM is not available, install the DB2 Client Application Enabler from the Client Pack CD-ROM. For example, install the DB2 Client Application Enabler for AIX from the DB2 Universal Database and DB2 Connect for AIX CD-ROM. When installing other DB2 Client Application Enablers on an AIX operating system, install the client code from the Client Pack CD-ROM.

  2. The installation instructions are available in several languages; however, they are not translated into all languages in which DB2 is available.
