If you are developing or running applications, you may want to create links for DB2 libraries to avoid needing to specify the full path to the product libraries and include files. To create these links, use the db2ln command.
/usr/IBMdb2/V2.1/cfg/db2ln
/opt/IBMdb2/V2.1/cfg/db2ln
This creates links from the DB2 libraries to /usr/lib, and from the DB2
include files to /usr/include.
