API: Application Programming Interface - a set of functions made available for the programmer to use to program applications
GUI: Graphical User Interface
MLE: Multi-Line Edit - an OS/2 mini-editor control
OS/2: Operating System 2 - a replacement for DOS with a better interface than any other operating system so far :)
WPS: Workplace Shell - the name of OS/2's user interface
