Archive Filename: pmmail220beta.zip Short Description: First beta release of PMMail 2.20 for OS/2 Long Description: PMMail is a multiple account email client for OS/2 and Windows. This is the first version 2.20 public betarelease for OS/2. It contains the following improvements over the 2.10.2010 version. FIXED: 'Not Found' Message Missing - When using the FIND function in the message read window, 'Not Found' conditions not reported in PMMail/2 as they are in PMMail2k FIXED: Run List from development still in the OS/2 version's Remote Control window FIXED: Problem opening long URL names. FIXED: Spell Checker - Certain words such as the plural of the words "yoyo" and "yo-yo" cause PMMail/2 to hang when they are spell checked. FIXED: PMMail/2 does not warn the user of problems it has when disk is full. FIXED: Sometimes you cannot right-click an address in a message *in the preview pane* and then add it to an address book. The dialog does not appear. Restarting PMMail/2 will fix it until the next time. FIXED: Spelling error with the "custom" installation in the "Spell Checker Files". FIXED: The [+] or [-] in the accounts folder sometimes changes appearance when selecting an account. This is a bug in the OS/2 Warp 4 container control that appears when using custom icons for the [+] and [-]. The problem is fixed by using the standard OS/2 icons instead of the customized ones used in previous versions of PMMail/2. FIXED: Using the application/octet-stream MIME type sometimes causes the wrong program to start. FIXED: Spellchecker loses focus when correcting a word. FIXED: Filter action "Delete Message - Remote Copy(Incoming Only)" deletes the "local" copy and leaves the remote one. FIXED: PMMSend does not include the GMT offset as is done when sending directly from PMMail. FIXED: PMMSend only uses 2 digits for the year. Corrected to use 4 digits. FIXED: If you BOUNCE a message that had BCC headers in it, it resends it to all the BCC'd people. FIXED: Messages with high ASCII characters are converted to QP before being encrypted. This ruins the decryption of the message. FIXED: Javascript message (SPAM) causing crash in Windows and OS/2. FIXED: Message Editor - The built-in message editor truncates messages larger than 64K without warning when those messages were imported from an external editor or file. FIXED: Clicking mailto: links occasionally gives a 'no account selected' or 'Set up account'. Bad linking with the INI file. FIXED: Messages with DOC, HTML, (VCF?) attachments clone their entries in the message list. FIXED: Adding a recipient in a received message with a ',' in the name to the addressbook (example: Presley, Elvis) will crash PMMail. FIXED: Using a filter to forward incoming mails to another address works fine unless there is an attachment. The attachment is not sent FIXED: The "save attachments to directory" is unable to save attachments to any drives root directory FIXED: Filters, "user hook" (foreground and background). Documentation states that the full pathname of the message file will be passed to the rexx script, only the part below the pmmail directory is passed. FIXED: Error with filters checking for email addresses with a '.' before the @ sign. FIXED: When an HTML mailto: link has a 'CC' tag PMMail did not recognize it. FIXED: When an HTML mailto: link has a ?body or ?subject tag it is case sensitive FIXED: Stalled POP Retrievals - POP retrievals sometimes stall. FIXED: If the time zone (in the "Date:" line) of a message contains a space, e.g. "EET DST", PMMail will fail to retrieve the correct time offset."
