CVS Commit

The CVS Commit "[filename]" command commits the file that's active in the content pane to the CVS module it resides in on the repository.

Committing a file in CVS synchronizes the repository version of the file with the changed version of the file that you have in your workspace. This way, the changes that you make to the file become available to other developers who have access to that file and the file's evolution can be monitored by version control.

There are two ways to access this command:

You will be prompted to describe the changes made. Click OK when done.

Click OK or press Enter to return to the AppBrowser.
