Color page (Editor Options dialog box)
Use the Color page of the Editor Options dialog box to specify how the different elements of your code appear in the editor.
You can specify foreground and background colors for anything listed in the Screen Element list. The sample code at the bottom of the dialog box shows how your settings will appear in the editor.
To open the Color page, choose Tools|Editor Options, then click the Color tab.
Editor Color Scheme
Quickly configures the editor display using predefined color combinations.
Defaults
Displays reserved words in bold. Background is white.
Classic
Displays reserved words in light blue and code in yellow. Background is dark blue.
Twilight
Displays reserved words and code in light blue. Background is black.
Ocean
Displays reserved words in black and code in dark blue. Background is light blue.
Screen Element
Specifies syntax highlighting for a particular code element. You can choose from the Screen Element list or click the element in the sample box.
Attributes
Specifies format attributes for some of the code element selected in the Screen Elements list. JBuilder supports the following text attributes:
Foreground
Sets the foreground color for the selected code element. To set the color, choose a color from the palette. The selected color is displayed above the Foreground palette.
Use Default
Restores the code element selected in the Screen Element list to its default background system color.
Background
Sets the background default system color for the selected code element. To set the color, choose a color from the palette. The selected color is displayed above the Background palette.
Use Default
Restores the code element selected in the Screen Element list to its default background system color.

Displays selected settings.
