        Long Description: Vi Improved: a popular and powerful workalike of the

                          classic Unix editor "vi" which adds a host of

                          features, including unlimited undo, syntax

                          highlighting (for >150 file types), visual

                          selection, regular expressions, intelligent

                          auto-indenting, on-line help, and much more.  Has a

                          steep learning curve, but is immensely powerful and

                          extremely configurable.  Version 5.8 is mainly a

                          bugfix release.
