Serenity Systems International's eComStation 1.2 (eCS) consists of IBM's OS/2 Warp Version 4 (Merlin) Convenience Package 2/Manufacturing Refresh (MCP2/MR dated April 2002) with FixPaks, fixes, drivers, and features already integrated at levels which were current at the release date. There are various enhancements in installation on AMD64-CPUs, CD-ROM booting, installation programs, graphical user interface, Internet access, and more as well as additional drivers and applications like the InnoTek Web Pack for OS/2 and HOBLink X11 for OS/2 for remote access through an X Window terminal.

For multi-processor workstations the MultiProcessor Pack 1.2 is available as an option.

A separate Application Pack 1.2 includes two office suites with Lotus SmartSuite and OpenOffice.org plus Serenity Virtual Station (SVISTA), a virtual machine application with support for eComStation as a host to run OS/2, Windows, and Linux as a guest operating system.

Software Subscription Services offer access to product enhancements, updates, upgrades, and new features for a period of 12 months for eComStation 1.2 or the Application Pack 1.2.

Currently, eComStation 1.2 is available in International English, Russian, German, and Dutch language versions. For students and teachers in an academic institution eComStation 1.2 is available as an Academic Edition including OpenOffice.org with a special pricing.
