Information	`2001-01-31`: end of free defect support for the latest shrink-wrapped Warp client (OS/2 Warp Version 4) `2002-05-31`: end of free defect support for the latest shrink-wrapped Warp server (OS/2 Warp Server for e-business) `2005-12-23`: end of marketing and sale of OS/2 Warp Version 4 and OS/2 Warp Server for e-business `2006-12-31`: end of technical and code-related defect support for the Convenience Packages for OS/2 Warp Version 4 (MCP) and OS/2 Warp Server for e-business (ACP) Updates to OS/2 Warp Version 4 and OS/2 Warp Server for e-business like reserved features, FixPaks (now called Fix Pack), and drivers require an active contract for Passport Advantage with Software Maintenance! Software Maintenance is only available for licensed copies of OS/2 Warp Version 4 and OS/2 Warp Server for e-business (available through Passport Advantage as well). The last version of the OS/2 Warp client and server operating systems are the Manufacturing Refreshes of Convenience Package 2 dated April, 2002, OS version 4.52, CSD level XR*4503. Options: usage of OS/2 Warp with the last freely available fixes, FixPaks and features purchase of Software Maintenance through the Passport Advantage program purchase of eComStation based on the last Convenience Package for OS/2 Warp Version 4 (MCP2/MR) transition away from OS/2 Warp (see IBM's Strategy paper) If your hardware is no longer supported by OS/2 Warp you may want to continue running it in a virtual machine like SVISTA or Parallels hosted on another operating system.
