Quick Beginnings
You must stop all DB2 Instances before you remove DB2
products. To stop DB2 Instances, you need to perform the following
steps:
- Obtain a list of the names of all DB2 instances on your system using the
following command:
DB2DIR/bin/db2ilist
where
| DB2DIR
| = /usr/lpp/db2_05_00
| on AIX
|
|
| = /opt/IBMdb2/V5.0
| on HP-UX or Solaris
|
- Stop the instance. See "Starting and Stopping a DB2 Server Instance" for information on how to stop a DB2 Instance.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each instance.
