Using DB2-Supplied Tools

DB2 supplies administrative and development tools to help you identify DB2 problems on Windows NT and Windows 95 operating systems. For example:

• The DB2 database manager lets you identify remote connections, threads (with the Process and ID Process variables), and other performance-related information. See "The Database System Monitor".

• The db2diag.log file identifies serious problems. (See "Understanding First Failure Data Capture".)
